Indigenous Minnesotans (Gr. K-5)

Are you familiar with the Indigenous Peoples of Minnesota? Did you know the town of Brandon used to be named Chippewa after the Ojibwe people? Would you like to know more about the Nakota, the Anishinaabe and other groups that made Minnesota home? Join us at the Runestone Museum for an exploration into the First Peoples of this area, and what life was like up until the Homestead Act and the arrival of European homesteaders.
